The company

Thiqah EcoWorks Limited is a Ugandan environmental sustainability and circular-economy company focused on transforming waste and underutilised resources into valuable products, services and sustainable solutions. We work across organic waste recovery, resource recovery, soil restoration, sustainable agriculture, environmental solutions and sustainable trade, with a focus on practical answers to waste management, resource efficiency, land degradation and climate resilience.

We also engage in the import, export, sourcing and distribution of environmentally relevant products, materials, technologies and solutions, connecting African markets with innovative global suppliers and partners. We are particularly interested in developing solutions that convert agricultural and organic residues into useful resources while supporting sustainable land management and circular production systems.

Nothing goes on the ground untested

Recovered material can carry pathogens, heavy metals and contaminants. This sequence exists to catch that before application rather than after it, and it governs every processing project we take on.

Step 1

Characterise

Lab analysis of the feedstock and the receiving site. Nutrients, organic matter, moisture, contaminants, and what is actually missing.

Step 2

Formulate

Blend ratio, carbon to nitrogen balance, moisture target and application rate set for that material and that site. No generic recipe.

Step 3

Process and verify

Controlled processing on a turning and temperature schedule, then maturity, pathogen and heavy metal screening before anything leaves the pad.

Step 4

Apply and monitor

Field application, then tracking of organic matter, water-holding capacity and yield across the following seasons, reported back to you.

PROJECT — CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND SOIL SOLUTIONS

Coffee husk and biosolids compost for arid soils

Uganda produces coffee husk in volume as a processing by-product. Fast-urbanising arid regions produce treated biosolids in volume. Composted together under a controlled process, they consume each other's disposal problem and produce a soil amendment that raises organic matter and water-holding capacity in sandy soils.

The technical package — methodology, risk assessment, quality control plan, monitoring framework, budget and logical framework matrix — is prepared and available to serious counterparties on request.
